Shrinking Video?

Okay, this could just be my imagination, but the video that I just finished (AVI to mpeg-2 to VOB) seems to play faster than the veggie file I rendered the project from. Imagination or compression? If so, how do I stretch the ENTIRE project, on several tracks, out to run at the speed I originally intended? Or, could it be just something in the water I'm drinking??

Put the VOB on the Vegas timeline beneath your original veggie, and see if it's the same length.

To stretch everything on the timeline, hit CTRL+A, then G, then with everything still selected, go to the end of the timeline and CTRL+Drag to the right, to linearly slow everything down.
