Shuttle keystrokes..

HI all,
Since the .pref-files that are delivered with Vegas 6 don't work for my Contour SpaceShuttle A/V, I'm now manually typing the keystrokes in the Contour software. Copying from Vegas 4 works for all buttons/shuttle movements, except for 'shuttle in right 1 thru 7'.
Turning to the left works, but right not.

Can anyone with a SpaceShuttle or other shuttle please have a look at the settings for those movements so I can type the right keystrokes?

Mine is a Contour Design Shuttle Pro 2. Space??

I haven't installed v6 yet, so I don't know. But I thought someone said the file is there, but you have to manually point the Shuttle software to it...

Right.
It's been a few weeks now and I have no memory to speak of. BUT, what I DO remember is that you have to go to the Control Pannel for the Shuttle Pro and Import the Vegas6(something).pref file from the Sony/Vegas6 folder.
I know this is vague, but the bottom line is that you need to Import the .pref file.
Hope this somehow helps.

I understand, but every V6 - .pref-file I'm trying to import gives an error message saying: this is not a valid pref-file. The .pref from V4 works fine.. but not in Vegas 6...
Not being able to import the settings is the reason I'm trying to enter the keystrokes manually now..

That file was updated in 6b. Have you updated to 6b?

Contour Design makes the Shuttle Pro v2 and the ShuttleXpress.
Contour makes the SpaceShuttle.
They probably aren't the same presets.
Maybe you can contact Contour to see if they can help.

Do you need to update your contour software? I found I had a very old version and got that same error. I went to the contour site and upgraded the software... and all the preferences worked.
