emmm, never thought of using the shuttle for video capture--can't answer your question but I know that they aren't availble through Contour.

I think vidcap pref files ship with the ShuttlePRO. You can also duplicate the Vegas 3 settings and target them to vidcap. It supports the shuttle ring command and the jog comments, and a few others.
