Sick & Tired -Randomly inverts chroma on whatever tracks & Render

Thomas-Monks wrote on 12/23/2022, 9:30 PM

Hi All,

I've tried everything ASUS Vivobook Win 11 AMD Radeon AMD Ryzen 7 5000 Series... Replacing driver with AMD download...system them goes back to the bad one a couple of days later. Now even that doesn't help. I need to do a final edit before Christmas for a client which needed a quick fix to the preliminary edit.

How can I keep this from happening and fix it forever ?

In this case, it only inverted the "Piano Photo" track. Other times, it will invert the gold opening and turn it cyan...while turning the lady in the video in inverted (blueish). At render, it plays it game again, different from preview...go figure :-(

Thanks !

Tom Monks

Only use the WHQL driver and search for how to block automatic driver updates in Windows.

Doesn't work...it's microsoft who auto loads these drivers...which are wrong. That's the problem.

You can block driver updates. Google search will tell you how.

I had the same issue and was able to block Microsoft from updating my driver with an older one (sigh). I think this was how I did it: https://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/how_to_stop_windows_updates_from_downloading_drivers_on_windows_10.html

Thank you all !

I successfully turned off MS driver updates and Rolled-Back to the previous version...worked terrific.
