Simple Line Editor App?

I used to have one of these, and I can’t remember it’s name. Something “Note” something? It would reveal all the lines of a Program/Software for viewing and editing etc?

Is it Notepad in Windows Accessories? Notepad can display the contents of a program (e.g. an .exe file) by opening Notepad and use File/Open to select the file - but Hidden Items must be checked under View in Windows Explorer in order to get .exe files etc to display. Editing can be undertaken and saved in Notepad.

@DMT3 - Yes! I believe it must’ve been thank you 🙏. I did view NOTEPAD++ this morning, but didn’t recognise the GUI. Hmmm..

Given your recollection thast it was somethiong like "Something 'Note' something" could it be Programmer's Notepad: http://www.pnotepad.org/
