Simple question on text button highlights

I have a really basic question dealing with highlights on text-only buttons. On the Button Properties page, I can set the style to text mask overlay for a button, but the Mask is preset to None and greyed out so I can't specify a mask file. How can I get access to this field so I can specify a mask file? DVDA7, Windows 11.

BTW Mask Mapping is also set to Transparency and greyed out, so I can't change that either.

As you've found, you can't change the mask for a text only button. You can only change the mask for an image button. Why would you want to change the text mask when you can change the image mask?

I recall that this may only apply to Blu-ray discs, which have to have transparency.
