Simple Track Motion Question

Hi,

I did a search on "Tack motion" and after viewing the first 200 views out of 1000, I gave up, so I post my question.

For my test I have one track and I would like to size my video in a little box and by using track motion, the video box starts from the top screen and flows down to the bottom(using keyframes from the track motion screen). No problem, I was able to do this quite well :)

The problem I have is, later in the timline I want to do the same thing but for another video scene (with the same keyframes..more or less), and when I place the video on the track motion track, it doesn't motion, and I'm not sure where I would do this...the video stays on the last position from my first clip earlier in the timeline.

I hope I explained this right...I just wanna re-use a track motion later in the video with a top-down scroll.

Question 2: Here's a bonus for you gurus..If I have 5 tracks all lining up a video clip side by side, how do I make them all the same height and width with a spacing? Is manual placing the only way?

Thanks

Regarding question #1, just copy keyframes from a track motion dialog that you are already happy with, and move them to where you'd like them to occur whether on the same track or a different track.

Regarding question #2, I'm confused at what you are asking for. 5 tracks, all with one duplicated video clip on all tracks? or 5 videos on 5 tracks that you want to space equally? There is no recall for variable track heights if that's what you are looking for. Spacing can be accomplished using ripple and equal time selection, or insert time. Or a couple other ways as well. I guess I don't understand specifically what you're asking.

Thanks for question #1.. I didn't realise that in track motion screen, the Position is actually like a mini-time line. Duh. Got it nicely now.

Question 2: I want to have like a brady bunch look. I have 5 tracks with 5 different videos all sized and positioned according (they all loine up next to eachother). I always have to do this manually and was wondering if there is a faster way to cut/paste the sizes from one track video size to another...so they as all perfectly alligned.

Thanks

Not the answer you are looking for . .but . . I'm intrigued by your, "I always have to do this manually " . .If you need to repeat this type of thingie, save the veggie as "Brady Bunch" . .then you've gotta it all set up ready for you to "replace" the media with what you want next time! .. . Neat eh? . .this gfoes for anything you repeat. Start creating your own "Vegtable Larder" or Library. . .

Grazie
