Single Keystroke For Capturing Stills?

I do tons of memory videos and am new to VV3. I capture via a video camera connected to firewire of iee-1394 card. Using VidCapture, I have found that you either have to do a mouse click or use a 3-key combination. Does anyone know of a procedure that will allow capture with just a single keystroke? Would be so much more convenient and faster.

Ctrl+Shift+R for stills, while Ctrl+R is for video capture.

Thanks, but I think 3 keys are involved here; what I'm looking for is a SINGLE keystroke solution to capturing stills.
