size and languages in DVD subtitles

Hi I want to have some help with subtitles
I prepare subtitles with Times New Roman fonts 18pt (english)
when I insert them into a DVD 6 projects they turn to Arial 14pt
I want to change the properties of the subtitles to 18pt and if it"s posible not Arial how I do it as default ?
Now if I want to change i have to change each one subtitle and in a40min film it"s not really logical pls help

Change the first subtitle to the format you want, then RIGHT CLICK on the subtitle track on the timeline and select the option to APPLY FORMATTING TO SELECTED TRACKS>
