skipping clips in a playlist

I crated a dvd using a playlist. In the playlist there are about 20 video clips. I can't seem to skip through any of them when I play it on my players (PS3, Toshiba A3 HDDVD, XBOX 360, Mac DVD Player, Real Media Player). I used DVD +R RW DL using DVD A 4.5.

I've searched through the forums, but can't seem to find exactly what I need.

I have no clue how to utilize scripts.

Could it be the media I'm using? I'd hate to experiment with Dual Layers because these buggahz are EXPENSIVE. Anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks for your help...

Okay, I figured it out. You know, when that happens, you get this overwhelming sense of accomplishment, this great feeling of enlightment.

My problem was that I had placed those certain video clips within 4 menus. It created some weird linking problem. What I did to correct it was I moved all the video clips to the root directory, and created playlist links in the previous 4 menus. The preview seems to be on point. When I render it, it should be all good.

EDIT: well, it wasn't, because DVD +R DL RW discs SUCK! Even when dealing with the Sony 'Acucore' technology.

I optimized the files to fit on a standard 4.7 Gb DVD-R. From there, everything was A-OK. I guess what you burn it on DOES matter.
