I would love to be able to add a 1 second simple fade transition in a slide show. I find blinking from 1 slide to another is very annoying. A simple fade transition is much more elegant and professional. Also, It would be nice to be able to have the length of slides and subsequent transitions synchronize with a background audio file duration. This would save lots of time adjusting the slide lengths. I can do this in a cheap CD-ROM slide show program called Pro Show Gold from a company called Photodex. It would take DVD Slide shows to a whole new level!

I'd also like the estimated size of the project to be something close to reality.

Last night I was working on a DVD which is all slide shows. DVDA reported that the size of the project was 7Gigs. Just to be sure I created the files but did not burn them. Turns out actual size was 1.2G. A 6x mistake is huge. Means you cannot rely on the forecasted size at all
