Slide show and Vegas 5

My sister-in-law and husband just came back from Ireland. They took about 300 pictures, When Inserting them into the timeline, I used the automatic overlap of .5 seconds between each picture and uses the normal crossfade for transitions.

My Question is..
Is their a way you can randomly use different transitons between each picture, without manually inserting them?

Have you used scripts yet? If not, grab the complete set (versions for Vegas 4 & 5) at http://s92274348.onlinehome.us/vegas.html
Then use the one called Apply Transitions. It'll do exactly what you want.

No, there is no way in Vegas that I am aware of that allows you to apply random transitions automatically.

However, there is a script that has been out there for awhile that will apply randon transmitions for you. It will even allow you to choose which transitions you wish to randomize. Not sure where I found it........I can't seem to find what site I found it at. I'm sure someone else will chime in with the site. If not, I will look again and/or just post the script here.
