Try different dvd media.
Burned dvd's are much more sensitive to players.
Also if you created the file as a avi in movie studio you could
render at a different bitrate in dvd architect.
This will get you started I hope.

Also if your looking for answers try searching in the knowledgebase
above in the support dropdaown. Very helpful.

Thank you. I'm going to try different dvd's. I'm not sure about avi...mostly because I'm not up on the technicalities of using the programs.

And, thanks for the tip on researching. I'll give that a try, too.

Are there any dvd's that are better than others? 8x, 16x???

I use HP dvd-r 16x. The most reliable I have used. Made hundreds of copies. When I used dvd+r I had the same problem that you are having.

These types of problems could also be caused by your burner - some burners just aren't as good as others. It may be worth picking up a copy of Nero to use their analysis utility to see how bad the error rate is on your DVDs; lots of errors lead to playback problems. If there are only a few errors (you'll always have some), then you have other issues, such as possibly bitrate.
