I am new to Sony Movie Studio and knew nothing previously about the slide, slip, or snap functions it offers. Now I begin to understand each, but see that I was doing more or less the same things by manual or custom actions before.
I can see where slide, slip, and snap can be very handy for event video shot simultaneously with various cameras, and where one may want to slide about the places where the B or C camera overlay the A camera; or where you want to adjust the content but not the point in time where it appears.
However, in ordinary practice, do lots of SMS users get by without using any of these tools? The reason I ask is that I fear that setting them up (finding the ALT or CTRL keys) may take me as much time as simply to drag or trim a clip that may not need precise action or audio synchronization with other tracks anyway.
