slideshow creator

Roger Bansemer wrote on 4/21/2023, 7:25 AM

Using the "slideshow creator" in Vegas 20 many of my slides (paintings) are cropped and I have to go in manually and use the pan/crop and "match output aspect" to see the entire photo. Is there a way so each painting will shown in it's entirety?
Thanks.

While I don't use the Slideshow Creator, a suggestion is to check File/Project Properties to make sure that "Adjust source media to better match project or render settings" is not checked:

@Dexcon That doesn't work, mine was already ticked but the images were cropped,

@Roger Bansemer Hi,

Select the first one of the images on the timeline, in the Pan/Crop window right click - Restore,
Then back on the timeline right click on that first image - Copy,
Then Ctrl+A select all images on the timeline,
Right click on the second one - Selectively Paste Event Attributes, tick Video event pan/crop settings in the pop-up window

You need to untick it.

@Dexcon sorry 👍🤦‍♂️ I need to read comments better 🤦‍♂️ 'is not checked'

PS, still doesn't work, I unticked it before loading the slideshow,

The copy and past event attribute works fine. I had done that on previous projects but thought there might be even a shorter way.
Thanks everyone for the replys.
