Can someone please tell me, when DVD-A 2.0 transcodes a slideshow, is it actually converting the images to MPG2 video footage, or is it simply doing a single MPG frame per picture?
Reason being, MPG frame image rendering handling results in being able to put MANY more pictures on the disk rather than if it was being transcoded to actual video.
If it's being transcoded to actual video, you gain no disk space advantage and could do the exact same thing by rendering the images to a video stream.
