Slightly OT Interesting Feedback

Hi

For many years, I have been a member of the Discreet 3D Studio Max Forum.

The other day, a forum member posted a request for advice on purchasing a good software based editing system.

Of the four members who posted a response on that day, all reccomended Vegas (I was not one of the posts).

As I have been a Vegas user for several years, I thought it was confirmation of the growing popularitiy of Vegas versus Premier and other editing systems.

Thought I would share this with you.

This Vegas thing is getting way too popular for my liking, if it keeps up we're all going to loose our geek status.

I'll definately claim the "old" part of that status! Dunno about the other two parts though. ;)

And what's up with that word "geek" anyway. It has a terribly sordid history. We need to come up with something better that doesn't have all those past associations.

vegas has been rated #1 at videohelp.com for sometime now also
