the slip/slide split screen preview seems to have vanished in VP15. I have both 12 and 14 still installed and it works a treat. Press either <ALT> or <CTRL><ALT> and drag an event and you get the split-screen preview. Not with VP15 though. It just shows a sort of letterbox view??

Look carefully for the SPLIT.
Definately no split, just 1 image stretched and distorted across the window when I start the drag.

No, BUT I SOLVED THE ISSUE. IT IS THIS -
This option on the View menus was unchecked "video event edge edit frames". I have no idea what it does, but it must be checked for slip/slide to split the preview image. See this thread https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/video-event-edge-edit-frames-not-working--105766/
