Slo Mo Flickering When Rendered in Vegas 6

I just rendered my first Vegas 6b project, and after rendering noticed that the final output was flickering badly (as if the field order was wrong), everywhere I had applied slo-mo. I couldn't see any settings that were obviously wrong, and eventually copied all the clips over to a new Vegas 5 project. From here, the render was fine.

My source files are all PAL 4:3 DV, as is the output format. The project settings for Vegas 5 and Vegas 6 are both PAL DV, with Deinterlace mode set to Interpolate.

Does anybody have any suggestions for where to look for some other setting that could affect this? If Vegas 6 can't do slo-mo properly it is not very useful to me.

I just tried changing the properties of my video clips to Upper Field first in Vegas 6, and the slo mo renders OK like that. It looks like Vegas 6 is getting the field order wrong for these clips, which were captured using Vegas 5. Can anyone else reproduce this please?

Try setting the Interlace mode to Blend. Just a hint.

Hi James, thanks for the reply. I tried both Blend and Interpolate, but the results with both are not good. There is a definite difference in behaviour between Vegas 5 and Vegas 6, at least on my system. I have also tried it now with clips captured in Vegas 6, and it is just as bad.
