I'll try reposting this question....can anyone offer some advice?
When I slow down my video clips, I notice many times there is a resulting stuttering effect on the video. Instead of the image being smooth, I see several mini "stutters" (quick hesitating stops on the clip).
Any advice?
thanks.....
On Vegas 5, which is the version I still use, there is a default setting called "Smart Resample". For slo-mo using velocity envelopes, try "Disable Resample".
I'm afraid I don't know what the difference is between "force" and "smart" resample. Presumably there is a difference, otherwise they would be redundant....
Whatever, if your Vegas is set to "Smart resample" and you are having trouble with "jittery" slo-mo, just do the experiment--switch to "Disable resample", at least for the clips that you've slowed down, and see if that helps.
If it doesn't help, it doesn't cost you anything...
