Slow Down Audio and Burn to CD

Hello All,

I'm using Vegas 4.0 to slow down the RATE of audio tracks; more specifically fast guitar solos. I have slowed down the parts to about .64 (RATE) and it plays back fine in Vegas; but when I render the audio as a WAV file (then to CD) it is at normal speed. How can I burn my slowed down tracks onto CD? Sorry if this is a novice question. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Don't use the Rate slider. This only affects preview playback. It doesn't affect rendering, saving, or burning.

The simplest way to slow down a track is to hold down the Ctrl key and drag the right edge of the event to the right and stretch it out. If you then right-mouse-button click on the event and choose properties you can select whether it is time stretched and the pitch remains the same, or slowed down like a tape recorder and the pitch drops as well.
