slow down wmv

How can I slow down a windows media file that I downloaded off the internet? It is a wmv file. It plays back in the windows media player ... but I want the file to play back the file at 1/2 the speed. Movie studio won't let me manipulate it.

Sorry - poor English. I want to play the file at 1/2 speed. Movie studio doesn't like the windows format.

Hold the Ctrl key down and drag the right edge of the clip out to twice it's original length.
