Slow/Fast motion

How can a clip be made to run at accelerated (or reduced) speed? The only option I see is to click CTRL+mouse and drag the event, but this has limits. Has anyone found a better way?

Yes, this is the way it is mostly done. Two other ways...
1). Use the Envelope Edit Tool to add a velocity envelope and use this to edit as it will not change the duration of the clip.

2). Render to whatever format you choose (I use lossless .avi) and render at fastest motion... place the clip in the time line then speed up again... then keep doing so until it gets where I want it.
Takes some time but results are great.
