Slow Mo Trouble

I seem to be having problems when I change the speed of shots. Slo-motion footage appears to stuter after i print to tape (mini DV) on the other end fast motion seems too flicker. All looks fine when I view it on the computer screen, its only after I print back to tape. Help. Ive allready tried tests with resampling in. Is this just the nature of a low cost editing software package?

Where is the resampling switch? I see it in Vegas but not VideoFactory.

Does VideoFactory resample slow-mo events? I'm assuming it does since my own slow-mo videos have turned out very smooth.

Muhstock, I think what you are seeing is the result of improper interlacing. Since I know very little about interlacing, I can't really help. I just know that "lower-field first" is the proper order for NTSC DV format.

I'm still unclear about the significance of field order in the Project Properties. If we set the Project properties at "Progressive", won't it still render properly when we use the standard DV (NTSC or PAL) templates?
