Slow Motion

I'd like to apply a slow motion effect to an entire event. When I use the Velocity Envelope feature and set the Velocity to 1% it does slow the event down but the total length of the event is still the same. I have a 10 second event in the time line that I'd like to see from start to finish and have it take 20 seconds.

After applying the velocity envelope, you need to drag the right edge of the clip out to match the new length.

Right. To take a 10 second clip to 20 seconds, make the velocity envelope 50% and then trim the event.

OR, Ctrl+drag the right edge to 20 second, and it will also play half-speed.

Make sure to turn on Resampling (event property switch) that will greatly improve the smoothness.
