slow motion flicker

I've tried several ways to slow down a video event, which looks fine in playback, but when I've transferred to tape, there is a bad flicker effect. Is there another way to do it within VV? Or, if not, is there video software available that can slow down an avi file?

when you use slo-motion you should make sure you resample the event
right click on the event, properties, check the resample box - resample
i find if i move the camera it is not a very good slo-motion picture
however, if i don't move the camera it is right o the money
slo-motion---use resample

Just tried what you suggested. It worked like a charm. So thank you so much; I'm very
much appreciative of your time and effort.

I also clicked "reduce interlace flicker", so perhaps that might have helped a bit as well.
