My 16x Plextor IDE will only burn at 6x with Vegas Video 3, but will burn at 16x with the Plextor software, which has burn-proof but is not Red Book. However, CD Architect will burn at 8x (which is max) on my SCSI drive. Is SCSI a more reliable method for creating Red Book CDs?
Hello!
I use Yamaha 2100S SCSI drive (16-10-40), and I can choose maximum speed from both software (16x). SCSI is not required to write Red Book CD. There is an alternativ way to use your CD burner, if it is not fully supported by Sonic Foundry products, use this smart little program, to burn CD Architect project files (*.cdp).
