Slow rendering/encoding

Hello,
I am using Movie Studio 13 Platinum (Build 190) for my editing.
everything was fine, i could edit the videos the way i liked and encode them in short time. 20min video was encoded in arround 12 minutes with the help of hardware encoding on my gpu.
I switch to a newer modell to speed things up more..just to find out newer nvidia cards make problem. OK, no problem then i will use cpu encoding only. But it takes for the same 20 min video arround 90 minutes to encode.
I tested a lot of settings but cant get the time down.

I took the same video to virtual dub, encoded with my cpu and equal settings...25min. I even downloaded test versions of adobe premiere to test encoding...arround 25 min.

So anything must be relay broken with my movie studio. Can anyone give me a hint what i can do to speed the process up?

I use SMS v12 and find the basic Render Times significantly longer than you say.

For a simple Edit rendering is about 3x the final movie-duration.
However, if I use fancy titles, Key-framing and Effects, then what I call "Render Factor" rises to maybe 8x or more... meaning Rendering a 10min Vid can take over 1hour.
For this reason any section where Sync is critical I use the Loop Render feature, so it renders just a small part - maybe 20 seconds, to check the picture and audio "work" - This clip is then discarded.

Have you tried to go back to the set-up you had originally, & using an old .vf file . . . . you can check it out?

Good luck.
