slowing down gradually

Hi friends,

I am trying to discover Vegas 4.0 and all it´s abilities to deside if it is suitable for me.My question is if there is possible to get the movie slowing down gradually?

Well, I can pull the event with the mouse while holding Ctrl key to get whole part running slower,but I could not recognized how to get it gradually...?
Is it possible?

Right Click > Insert Velocity Envelope > Add Points . . and off yah goes!

Velocity envelopes only affect video. There isn't any good way in Vegas to gradually slow down the audio. If you have Sound Forge you can use Pitch Bend to do this, but getting it to sync accurately with the video can be tricky. Alternatively you can split the audio event up into lots of tiny pieces and slow each one down a bit more than the previous one.
