I just upgraded to a kick-ass Pentium Dual Core system. Lots 'o RAM, HHD space, 256 meg video card, XP Home, etc...
Here's the problem... When capturing video from my GL-2 to Vegas 5, the buttons (FF, RW, PLAY, etc.) on the vidcap screen are slow to react. For example, when I click Play, the button does not gray until five seconds later... then the GL-2 responds. When I click and drag the search bar, the button doesn' t move for about five seconds, then moves to where I am holding the mouse cursor and the GL-2 responds. Basically, it's working, but not in realtime. I didn't have this problem with my old system.
Something you need to know... when I first plugged in my GL-2 to the new system, it said there was a problem installing the driver for my hardware, and that it might not work properly. Technically, it IS working properly, but sluggish. I never had to install any special driver on my other XP Home machine.
It's frustrating, but not crippling. Any thoughts?
