Sluggish video response?

Hey, I've got a dual pIII 850 setup with an ATI all in wonder video, and under Vegas 3, I've noticed that if you zoom in and try to drag markers around, the system gets really sluggish until you let go of the marker... I have no problems with editing, or moving events or anything for that matter, just the markers. I dont have this issue under VV2, can anyone else reproduce this?

tried it. my system is a dual PIII 1GHz. it never got sluggish, but the CPU util went up to 100% after dragging the marker around for a while. that didn't seem right. it's worth looking into.
