Small feature request - very easy to implement!

It would be very handy to have an option to select the default fade type in Vegas. I virtually always use the third from down fade type, and have to select this manually every time I do a fade or cross fade; this can become a bit of a pain.

SF - how about an option in preferences to select the default fade type? Pretty please...

Thanks
Ben

I believe it's already possible, if you hold down the shift key while opening Preferences you get an extra set of "internal settings" which include the default fade type. I believe.

You gotta be careful with these. I'd search for "internal preferences" in the old forum messages for a proper explanation of all this.....

Hi Edna - I'm aware of the internal preferences page, but have never seen the option there. I just checked again and, as far as I can tell, it still ain't there!

Thanks Pipeline. Maybe I'm being stupid though, but I can't find that preference in internal! I'm running Vegas 2 at work where I'm trying it now; I've got Vegas 3 at home, I'll try it there tonight.

Cheers

not sure if it works in vegas 2, but for V3, what you do is go to options, then hold down control and shift then click preferences
