I am doing a reel for an actor friend and one of his bits of footage is 60i. I plan to render that, and everything else on the timeline, to NTSC 24p. Does the Vegas Smart-deinterlace feature trigger automatically when you render a 60i project to 24p, or does Smart deinterlacer have to be run separately?

P.S. Just edited this post--I think Smart Resample is the function I'm thinking of in Vegas but same question--does it deinterlace?
