Smartphone MP4 video filmed in portraitmodemistake

Hi. Somehow I was filming a long series of clips of a recent Mardi Gras parade
and one of them was imported in a portrait mode instead of a landscape mode???

I swear I would never film those scenes in that manner and in my phone view I can play it back
as a landscape clip but I noticed in the gallery view it had been shown in portrait display so I guess it
imported that way by mistake???

Another mistake I made was to import from the phone as opposed to getting the clips in my PC now some of the clip are Offline...(It did not like creating a backup copy from the phone's files.)

Looks like I'll be starting all over. Messy start for sure LOL!

If you start recording video on a smartphone with the phone's physical orientation in portrait a flag is set at the beginning of the video file indicating that the clip was recorded in portrait mode even though you immediately turn it to landscape for the rest of the recording. Just rotate the clip 90 degrees in Vegas and move on.
