Smooth Zoom into Stills?

I'm sorry for being new at this, but I'm trying to put together a "video" of photos (accompanied by some nice cheesy music). My goal is to slowly zoom into each picture. I've tried using the pan/crop box but, as far as I can tell, each time a keyframe is added, it zooms in all in one instant. Any tips?

First, look into the advanced tutorial cd, totally worth it.

For your problem, you want to click on the little keyframe diamond and then choose 'smooth'. That'll make the transition between the keyframe you clicked and the next keyframe linear.

Thanks! One other question--any ideas how to increase the clarity of the still images on the video? Is this only a function of photo resolution?

If you look at the text you pasted, you'll see that the 'Posted by' field says theigloo.

If we really want smooth zooms though, we need bezier curve controls on the keyframes.
