First, look into the advanced tutorial cd, totally worth it.

For your problem, you want to click on the little keyframe diamond and then choose 'smooth'. That'll make the transition between the keyframe you clicked and the next keyframe linear.

Thanks! One other question--any ideas how to increase the clarity of the still images on the video? Is this only a function of photo resolution?

If we really want smooth zooms though, we need bezier curve controls on the keyframes.
