Snap offset

Hello people,
I just subscribed to this forum and seems very good. After searching through
the topics I still couldn't figure out how to get an events snap offset timecode
value ???

Hi,
I already searched the mentioned links without success.
Is the snap offset the property of the Take ? I see such a property
but the description is somewhat confusing - "Get or set the start time
of the take's media stream.". As the offset is not a start time by any
mean I suppose this must refer to something else.
