Snap problems...

Has anyone besides me noticed that Vegas 3.0 can not quite snap to a measure? The makes editing audio a real chore. I didn't ever have this problem in Vegas Pro. I dunno it might just be me, but I can't seem to make it snap as well as Pro. What I'll see is something like 16.4.063 when it tries to snap to 17.1.000...

you may have to disable 'Quantize to frames' under Options.

Be very careful moving video around with Quantize off. As handy as it may seem, video is a very precisely timed affair, and I can't help but to think dropping your frames between frame boundaries could lead to trouble.

Turning off Quantize to Frames did the trick!! Thanks, I just started using VV3 and I am primarily doing audio editing. I suspected that the problem might have had to do with more video heave nature of this version. Also thanks for the warning about the possiblity of droped frames in a video project.

Thanks!
