Snap to Grid doesn't...

While objects snap to a grid, they do NOT snap to the grid lines, always missing by the same margin.

If you like the size the the default thumbnails when you drag them to the default blue gradient menu page, you may want to adjust the grid size. I changed my grid to 32.7 width and 15.5 for height. This divides the default thumbnail of 158.4 by 115.2 into 12 sections and nicely divides the template into 20 grids across.

Another problem, changing the grid spacing isn't remembered as it should be. This is something that needs to be changed everytime you do a new project. Another annoyance that should be corrected.

I'm not seeing this. I used your numbers of 32.7 and 15.5 and it seems to snap to the grid lines (as well as between the grid lines) just fine. However, it DOES appear that want snaps is INSIDE the beveled outline square but my upper left-hand corner seems to snap just fine.

Did you check the box that says "Start all new projects with these settings"? I started a new project and the 32.7 and 15.5 were remembered. I even exited and restarted and it was remembered.

Curious, because it doesn't work on my system. Neither the outer or inner box with the handles nor the thumnails inside snap to the grid lines, they always miss by a good margin, at least 10 pixels, just eyballing it.

The other problem not remembering the settings was apparently me not remembering to hit apply. So 50% resolved.
