I'm REALLY late to the game, using Magic Bullet Quick Looks and Vegas 8 forever, I had a moment to install the Vegas 9e I bought six months ago.
First thing I noticed is MBQL no longer works; that's OK, I kinda knew that.
Second thing I noticed is the 'Soft Contrast' filter. I did a search for that and turned up very little, but have you guys noticed this beauty? I use 'Warm Spot' filter for EVERYTHING and can create what seems to be a pretty close approximation right in Vegas 9.
Not bad at all! Does anyone have any blog posts or reviews of this filter?
And my NewBlue filters tranferred fine as well as the AAV Color Lab.
Is version 9e better than 9d with regards to responsiveness? I read a few threads about 9d and performance was abysmal.
