soft contrast plugin issues

I like the Soft Contrast plugin with vignettes, but it starts to choke on even small renders and seems to get worse and cause flickering.
I can get some satisfaction by rebooting or prerendering a clip, but it is not working well at all. I have plenty of RAM and a hi enough speed processor, so what gives? Can the plug in be updated or reinstalled without going back to square one? I can\t seem to find a similar (inexpensive) plugin in Vegasaur, Boris, NewBlueFX, FX Mome, etc.... ideas?

First of all, please add your system specs to your profile so I and other people in this forum can help you better.

I wasn't able to reproduce (repro) this issue. Please be more specific about what you're doing. Here are some questions to help you be more specific. Which version and build of Vegas are you using? For example, Vegas 12 Build 770. What kind of format is your footage? MXF, MOV, etc. What kind of frame rate are you using? 24p, 30p, 60i, etc. In the Soft Contrast FX parameters, what are you selecting? What render template are you using?

Anything else you can think of to help me repro this issue would be greatly appreciated.
