Software not installing?

Brenda-DLC wrote on 9/26/2021, 8:49 PM

Hello everyone. I’m not sure how to explain this. I’ve been having this issue where I first downloaded the Free Trial (Vegas pro 19) the only thing that downloaded was Stream and New Bleu. Vegas pro 19 did not install. So I kept trying, what happens is after the installer finishes - it just disappears. I get no error message from windows. I try looking for the software in the tool bar and in programs/ apps. It’s not there either. I also try restarting, turning off and unplugging the pc. I have purchased the software and choose mail thinking it was going to come with a CD. It did not - I suppose that’s my fault. I also can’t find anything on the internet about this issue. So I’m just seeing if anyone has had this experience before with VP or any other software. Thank you in advanced. Ps i did send an Email out to support. Waiting to hear back from them

It might be getting hung up on registration? Is it allowed (firewall setting etc.) to connect to the internet? You can also try downloading VP 19.341 directly from the news section of this forum.

Also make sure you have enough space on your hard drive for installation. Your description sounds very much like what happens when you don't, so at least rule that out.

Your computer specs do not meet the required specs for VP19.

CPU 6th Generation Intel Core i5 (or AMD equivalent) or better with 2.5 Ghz and 4 Cores

Your FX 6300 is older than the equivalent 6th gen Intel CPU's which were released in 2015. The FX6300 was released in 2012. While it "should" work, your editing experience will not be smooth.

You didn't list what GPU you have.

And the RAM required is 16GB. You have half of that.
