Not sure about the video clips but IrfanView (it's free and great) has a batch processing option that will make rotating your stills very easy.

Irfanview for stills.
Avisynth script for the video?

Never thought of Irfanview! I have it and will give it a shot.

Hadn't thought of Avisynth, either. I'll take a look at it.

Thanks.

Why bother rotating them?

In Vegas put them all on the timeline, open up Pan/Crop on the first video, and rotate the cropping 90°. Adjust aspect ratio as necessary so it fills the screen. Ctrl-C to copy, select all the other video clips, right-mouse-button click on one and select "paste event attributes". Do this same procedure for the pictures.

You could make it a teensy bit easier by rotating the entire track with Track Motion, but the resizing/resampling is lower quality than with Pan/Crop.
