software won't open

okay, first, my problem is that my software will not open. It says "Move Studio Platinum has stopped working" and then closes out. I need help!!!

Presumably something on your system is interfering with VMS. We need more info. For a start:

Your system specifications
Exactly which version and build number of VMS you are attempting to run
The exact point at which startup fails, and the exact contents of any error messages
