Howdy, the AVID was tied up so I did a 16:9 spot letter boxed for 4:3 with Vegas 4. Used the "squeeze vertically" plug in and, wow. Just as good as the AVID Media Composer output (though it took an hour and a half to render vs AVID MC real time). Outstanding result. This was BetaSX 16:9 transferred to DVCAM via SDI then the DVCAM captured through 1394 to Vegas 4. Too bad the DNW series doesn't have a fire wire option (har har)
