Solution for Architect 2.0 external monitor aspect ratio not working properly

I have two external monitors running concurrently. One is a standard 4:3, the other is a 16:9 widescreen.

Last night while working on a 16:9 aspect project, the external monitors showed the correct view.
Today, both monitors are showing a letterboxed view. Here are the options I have checked and re-checked:

Project properties: NTSC widescreen
Options: "Simulate device aspect ratio"
Preferences-"Video Device"= OHCI compliant IEEE 1394/DV; "Format" = NTSC DV Widescreen

SOLUTION: IF "Format" is set at "NTSC DV", then changed to "NTSC DV Widescreen" the display will then be correct.

Just as a prompter there is an issue with the preview in PAL 16:9, the image is letterboxed even thogh it is being displayed on a 16:9 monitor

Also each time I go into DVDA 2 I have to change the device to PAL/PAL Widescreen and then toggle the external preview off then on for ti to work.
