Surely no one was not visiting the booth b/c HD DVD may not be a factor any longer yeah? They must not have had anything interesting to show. Did you see anything of note at either of the HD DVD booths?
Just new players and new HD DVD titles. BD didn't have anything new to show either, if that's the context you're looking for.
The attitude in the Toshiba and relevant partner booths was fairly hang-dog.
At one of Toshiba's bigger booths, I went to pick up a brochure with big print "Why HD DVD is the format of the future." As I picked it up, one of the women behind the desk chuckled and said "It might be worth something some day." I laughed right along with her. The death stench was palpable. Even more sad was seeing all the CES bags with the embroidered HD DVD logos on them.
Some great shots from the boogie. I was there one day to watch my son jump. I showed him the pic's and he kept saying, "Hey that's John, I jumped his wingsuit; that's Scott, he's a legend; wow I went to dinner with that guy, etc. Sounds like everyone had a great time. Looks like you jumped the wingsuit while you were there. Must have been a blast. Thanks for sharing.
