Some hardware questions

Trying to install win2k to see if this is a temporary fix

When installing I get a " r6003 divide by zero error" while the files are installing from the CD.. Any ideas as to what this is ?

Also I have a P4 with 3 hard drives, a CD curner, 2 soundcards, a network card and dual output video card. I am using a 400 watt power supply. Is this enough power ?

Pipeline,

Dual boot system or is Win2k the only OS. I looked this on Microsoft and all I could find is :

This error message can be caused by corrupted DoubleSpace files or incompatible terminate-and-stay-resident (TSR) programs.

So - anything running in the background? I will assume you are not using DoubleSpace from DOS 6.22....update when you can.

Cheers,

Hmm,

"incompatible TSR's" - (because I doubt you are using dblspace somehow). This sounds like it is either a Virus Dectction TSR found in your BIOS settings (have a look in your BIOS and Disable any Virus Detecting routines). Failing that it could be the complete opposite and you actually have a Virus resident in memory.

Perplexing...
