I have just started using Vegas and am finding the project type options a bit confusing -on top of that I have a couple (or 4) input source types: HD, SD, 3D graphics and maybe some images.
1. Even though the output is likely to be SD in the short term should I go for an SD project template, a HDV or HD one?
2. Should I de-interlace my video footage? -All the methods I have read either involve some cost: DVFilm or sound complex "100fps/dub/avi" route
3, The HD footage is from the Sony HDV-HC1 camera which does not have square pixels. If I ask my friend to make some graphics what horizontal and vertical resolution is best to fit a HDV project of 1440x1080 if I choose that template? (render 1920x1080?)
I live in PAL 25fps land.
Thanks very much in advance for any help.
Regards, Nick.
