Some random video clips...(White stripes stylee)

I was watching MTV and saw the white stripes video for the song called 7 nation army, and kind of attempted to duplicate the effect in vegas*.

save it

*I just grabbed a couple of random green screen clips I had on my hard drive to try it with, it could look better with more effort/ thought put into it.

Secondly, if you go to this site;

http://satanjr.com/video/

and check out the "test" clips (they are all pretty small), maybe you could tell me what one you think looks best, it is the same clip rendered differently.(no cheating, just go by looks, not file properties)

thanks!

How did you create that effect with those green screens? I am talking about the clip that is similar to the new white stripes video. I did notice that there is a small seperation line toward the top right of each image. I might want to spend some time replicating this effect.

Thanks.

yeah on that clip I just grabbed whatever greenscreen video I happened to find first, thats why you can see that "blemish" up in the corner.

I just keyframed the track motion to get the zoom effect and then did it on a bunch of tracks over and over. I did that in about 10 minutes, but with some effort it might work well.

also, the test clips were rendered to the following....

test_1
320x240
no audio
30fps
300k
sharpest

test_2
320x240
no audio
60fps
300k
sharpest

test_3
320x240
no audio
60fps
300k
smoothest

test_4
320x240
no audio
30fps
300k
smoothest

test_5
320x240
no audio
60fps
500k
smoothest

WICKED!!! NICE!!!

If youd id dthis in 10 minutes... imagine what it would look like if you spent 20. This is a very cool effect.

Hi

10 minutes here as well, but a little different.. I used the cookie cutter, shape it like the WHite Stripes video. Put that effect on every videotrack and that's it. But to do it the right way don't forget to mirror every video track at the bottom..
And.. of course to have all trcks start small and grow bigger just as fast as the cookie cutter..

Did start out with green screen, but it's not necessasy at all.. cookie cutter rules.. looks exactly like the original White Stripes video!
