Someone from SONY help me please

Hello there,

My PC crushed and i need to install vegas 4, dvd architect 1.0 and batch converter after i reinstalled WINDOWS OS. I mailed customer service regarding the activation codes but until now, i dont get any feedback. Can anyone guide me how to get the activation codes.

For batch converter and dvd architect, it needs the activation codes before it can open. vegas 4.c can't render MPEG1 and 2..it is asking registration.

I have no problem registering online before because it links to sonic foundry site but now that it was bought by sony...i can't register online when it prompts me to register upon opening the apps.

I had registered previously from sonic foundry.
SONY how can i get the activation codes for these old softwares

I just checked my vegas 4.0e install and it indicates Sony, so somewhere between 4c and 4e was where Sony took over.
Download the update to 4e and the lastest DVD 1 update and see if that allows you to register.

If you click on My Account/My Software above, you can get the serial numbers of all the software you have purchased.

Thanks fldave, how about the batch converter.

That's why i am sending an email from customer service because i have already my serial numbers from "my account"...i should be able to get the activation codes without all these registration procedures... it's a bit giving delays.
Anyway, i will try that.

if you can't do it electronicly because Sony never patched a version with the new servers (I thought they did for everything) just give customer service a call, or do it via e-mail.

that should work too.
